The Role of Women
I want to start out by saying that I am a female, so this post is not written by some big headed male. I've sat back and watched the world revolve and we are screwing up.
Ladies, why are we so focused on moving up in the world? Don't you understand that if you and your husband are working 40+ hour weeks at work and doing whatever you can to advance in the workplace then no one is spending time with the children and helping the grow in life? Yay! for women's rights and both the male population and female population should be looked at as equals, yet we are not.
As females, we are born with the hardest job in the world: to grow our children up in a respective manner. Why do you think that there are gangs out there? Because these, once previously, children didn't had family time together, mommy and daddy didn't make time for their child. They go out and search for a family, even if it's a family that's a screwed up as gangs are, because physiologically they are looking for someone who will love and take care of them. Someone to take the time to listen to them.
Ladies, we aren't meant to just shove our children off to someone else to raise them, while you work long hours, only to come home and not want to interact with your child. To come home and watch TV. Where is the relationship with family in that?
I'm not saying that daycare is a bad thing, because it's not. It's a great way to teach social interactions to children, teach them to share, teach them to respect adults and many other things. But children shouldn't always be thrown into daycare. They need the love and attention of their parents. Children need their parents to teach them the correct morals in life. To eventually teach them how to be an adult.
I think that society has forgotten the importance of things, like raising children. Ladies, the job we were born to do is raise children correctly and I feel like we've forgotten about that.
I'm not saying that the female population should quit work to be with their children, but I am saying that you should spend quality family time a lot more than you probably are now.
